Winter Wonderland~Oops, I blinked and missed it

It’s so pretty when it snows in Kentucky. Although most times it just comes and goes so fast you hardly have time to enjoy it.

Woke up to this.

   

                                

Just two hours later. It was this.

Autumn

Kentucky is so beautiful all year round but I have to say that the
cooler brisk air of Autumn is my favorite time of year. All summer
I long to feel the fresh air that fall brings with it.

It’s Time!!!!!

Tomorrow is the big day that I’ve been preparing for. The 2 week show that I’m doing in Midway, Kentucky in the Damselfly Gallery Courtyard. We’re open every day 7 days a week.

Count down

Yes, the  F.E.I Games are coming up soon. Sept. 25 through October 10. I’ve been working hard to to have enough jewelry to sell at the show that I'm  doing in Midway Kentucky during that time. I'll have a booth that I'm sharing with two good friends at Damselfly Gallery.  It's such an exciting venue and I'm really looking forward to it.

I LOVE LOUISVILLE

It was a steamy hot day here in Kentucky on Tuesday but we enjoyed a breezy ride on the Belle of Louisville with our DIL and the kids.

 

 

Today is my sweet daughter’s birthday.

Laurie is the birthday girl on the left. And that’s my granddaughter on the right. Been ages since we’ve seen them. I’m hoping to be able to get up to Northern Illinois maybe in the fall when the weather cools just a bit.

How are you all keeping cool?

Bell House

Paige and I usually go out to lunch when she comes over. One of our favorites is Bell House. It’s located right here in Shelbyville. The house where it’s located was built in 1902, and has been lovingly restored by the owners Bob and Sue Andriot. It’s a beautiful addition to the heart of the town where we live. The food is fresh and wonderful. They are open for lunch and in the Fall they plan on being open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.

Here is a peek inside. It’s great to have a local restaurant with such a lovely ambiance.

Here is a look at what we had. Yummy , Aunt Emma’s Chicken Salad with fresh fruit and a warm bread stick and the best potato soup I’ve ever had and ,of course, a mouth watering brownie with ice cream,chocolate syrup topped with a strawberry.
